Strawberry margaritas, daiquiris, mojitos, and pina coladas are some of the best beach drinks to order at all-inclusive resorts. These tasty cocktails are chilled and refreshing drinks we’ve all heard of and love. But those aren’t the only great beach drinks you can order.
If you’re headed to an all-inclusive beach resort, or even if you’re already there and looking for inspiration for what to order, we want to share with you our list of the best and most unique beach cocktails to order while you’re there. >> See the related web story
Making a list (or saving/printing ours!) is necessary if you want to try a bunch of different drinks, because most all-inclusive resort bars don’t provide drink menus. Not helpful! But that’s why we’ve got you covered.
Believe me, every time you see someone walking around with a drink that looks good, you’ll be wanting to know what it is. With this list, you can skip the part where you have to ask what it is and then try to figure out what’s in it!
If you want to be prepared before heading out to your next beach vacation, check out our comprehensive list of drinks you should order at all-inclusive beach resorts and you’ll be all set to go.
And hey, even if you’re NOT headed to a beach resort, but still want to enjoy some fruity summer drinks, I’ve included recipes for each drink, so you can make them at home instead!

Be aware that bartenders often change up a recipe based on what they have available, and not all drinks are made the same way, so you might get something slightly different. A beach drink with vodka might also be made with rum, for instance.
You might also find that the bartender at your resort looks at you funny when you order some of these. They aren’t all ubiquitous. We found that each bartender at our most recent resort knew different drinks, so it helps to ask a couple of different bartenders until you find someone who knows.
Or better yet, take the recipes with you and just tell them how to make it! Cheers!

You know how you always have that one type of alcohol that you first got terribly drunk on and you vow never to touch again? For me that was tequila but suddenly, after 10 years, I’ve been drinking it again! I would totally pick number one: the Margarita! It makes me feel like I’m on holiday but maybe I should pop a couple of those painkillers in there just to make sure it doesn’t go all wrong again?
Great selection!
Some of them I never heard about, should try them at home, now on summer time!
My favorite is Long Island Iced Tea, and i’m super curious about the Superman! 😀
Cheers,
Nat
Take it from me. I just got back from Jamaica and for the whole week Nd tank the supetman everyday
Patricia, great choice!
Laura, are you sponsored? How do you earn a living writing about drinks that have been around eons.
Oh my goodness, I love a good cocktail, so this post is brilliant!! This makes me want to try out a load I’ve never thought of before too…
How have I never come across a Dirty Banana?!! Sounds delish! I’m not one for all inclusive resorts myself but I do love a good cocktail! Thanks for the inspiration!
I’ve never actually been on such a vacation, however it does sound tempting, just floating around in the pool and knocking down those delicious looking drinks … paradise for sure!
You must have mastered all those drinks to be able to write such a great post 😉 Hehe. I have certainly mastered the art of making a good mojito. I think I could go for one right now!
I’m always in the process of mastering the art of drinking 🙂
Nice, nice. I might make some of these at home later, because I’m having a guest:-) I’d go for bay breeze now.
I scrolled through this going, “yep, yep, yep, oh yeah!, yep” I think I’m just going to print this off and stick it on the fridge never mind waiting to go on holiday to enjoy these haha! Pina Colada is a personal favourite but the Superman and Bumblebee look delicious! Have you ever tried a Trifle Shot? One part Advocaat, one part grenadine, finish with a dash of squirt creme and hundreds and thousands and voila, dessert in a shot, it’s amazing! 🙂
I haven’t tried a Trifle Shot, but I’m going to now! Thanks for the recipe. See, who says you have to be on vacation to enjoy these drinks! 🙂
I wanna have them all 🙂 Some cocktails were new to me, but they sound so delicious, that I’m going to try them at home at the next opportunity – the Dirty Banana will be my favourite, I think 🙂
Post of the century! I may have to make a few of these myself. Definitely the margarita!
Thanks Joe!
Great list! Thanks for sharing!
icebergs are surprisingly good… give it a try with strawberry margarita for an added twist (way my hubbies drink of choice on our holiday!)
They are! I agree. And really refreshing for a hot day.
Watermelon martini is my fab crushed up watermelon vodka splash of lime sugar water ice shake well strain into glasses. It is delicious
I agree. And look how easy that recipe is!
love mango-tango. whats in it
That’s a great one, Doris! It’s mango, coconut, pineapple, rum and triple sec.
My husband and I went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon and my absolute favorite drink was their BBC. Bailey’s, banana and coconut creme. YUMMY!!! I do not drink but this turned me 🙂
That sounds like dessert! Yum.
I went to St Lucia to Sandals and they served a drink around the pool called Banana Lady. Never have found a recipe for it? It was fabulous
I’ve been looking for that recipe since 2000. I was obsessed with those!!!
Banana Lady:
1 part Vodka
2 part Tonic
1 part Banana Liqueur
Shake all together then pour over ice and enjoy!
I have been looking for the Banana Lady Drink recipe from my honeymoon since 2004! We had it at all 3 Sandals in St.Lucia too! Have been to other Sandals but never found it! It was a frozen drink but not the same as the Dirty Banana. Help!😄🍹
I’ve definitely found cases where only a few resorts make a specific drink. Maybe it was passed by word of mouth. What was the banana lady like? Was it creamy or not? I’ve seen a Banana Lady cocktail made with vodka, banana liqeur and tonic.
I loved the Halcyon Punch!!! I am still trying to find the recipe also. We went to St Lucia for our honeymoon also.
Mai Tai is incorrect recepie. Read about history of Mai Tai. BTW it was not invented in Pacific, but in Caribean.
You got it right with Margarita at #1. It is hands down my go to drink when we’re near the beach, especially at an all inclusive. Although I’m glad to have Silver, I try and get Repesado tequila if I can get it.

We went to Maui and I had so many of the lava flows! Just delicious!! Going to Punta Cana in a couple weeks, so I’ll have to try a few more of these. Thanks!
Haha, I’m right there with you on the lava flows, Rachelle. I could just sit around drinking those all week. I hope you find some great drinks in Punta Cana! Have fun.
I must be simple. Give me a gin and tonic with a lime wedge!
Hah. I hear ya, Joe. I love a simple gin and tonic too.
This is awesome, I have ordered almost every single cocktail listed while here on vacation! Can’t beat all inclusive resorts!
I was searching the internet specifically to find something new to order on my vacation to Cabo San Lucas in 18 days. But got more than enough from this site. Thanks! I tried the mojito and the superman last year in Cozumel. Great drinks! Thinking of making the Tequila Sunrise my after breakfast drink!
Going to punta cana next week and always have such a difficult time thinking of something to drink when there’s so many choices! Thought I would find nothing on the internet but this list is amazing. Thank you!
Happy to help out! I’m sure you won’t run out of options now! 🙂 Have a great trip.
