Are you one of those people who are constantly losing your keys or other important items around the house? Well, there’s good news for you! There is now a fast and foolproof way to locate your keys every time, without a single moment spent rummaging around the house like a lunatic when you’re late for a meeting. It’s called iHere3.0 Smart Key Finder, and it not only helps you locate your keys, it is also a remote control camera shutter button for your phone, so you can take selfies easier.
We were recently given the opportunity to try the iHere3.0 Smart Key Finder by Nonda, which came at a perfect time for us because we are just packing up our house to move across town and I knew that I would definitely lose things among the maze of boxes that we’re living in.
The device is a small rectangle, only about an inch wide and a quarter-inch thick. It is designed to hook easily onto a key chain, so you can attach it to your keys and not have to think about it again. If you do lose your keys regularly, this is a brilliant device. But it doesn’t only work for finding keys. The device can be placed alongside any item you think you might lose – like your shoes or a kindle or your reading glasses.
All it took to get started was to charge the device and download the iHere3.0 app. Within seconds, the iHere had identified my device and was ready to locate my item. I haven’t run down the battery yet, but I’ve been told it can last up to several weeks on one charge. This is great for me because I only take my car out once in a while and it wouldn’t be useful if the batteries ran out before I needed to find my keys.
The device is incredibly easy to use. Attach the device to an item you want to locate, then to find it you open the iHere app and tap the “Find” button. An alarm will sound from the device so you’re able to track it down. Once it’s found, you can click the button on the device to shut it off, or tap “Stop” on the phone app.
My favorite feature is the iHere3.0’s ability to call your phone from the device. I lose my phone more often than my keys. As long as the Call Phone feature is activated on the app, pressing the button on the device instantly calls your phone. This gives me motivation to always keep the device with me so I can locate my phone, which I sometimes need to do multiple times per day.
Aside from being able to lead you back to your lost item, the iHere3.0 app also includes the ability to locate your car, take a selfie, or become a voice recorder. I don’t take a lot of selfies, but I can see this being very handy when I do. Holding the phone steady from a distance and trying to push the shutter button is nearly impossible. With the iHere3.0, you don’t even have to be holding the phone to use it.
We’ve only had the device for a few weeks and I’ve already used it numerous times for various purposes. I love that it’s not a one-trick pony. Its multi-functionality makes it so useful that I always want to keep it nearby, plus it is surprisingly easy to use.
You can check out the full product details on Nonda’s product page. It’s not just me who likes it. The iHere3.0 retails for $19.99 – a pretty good deal for such a handy device. Plus, buy now and get free shipping in the U.S.!
